在民進黨主席蔡英文即將訪美之際，大陸國台辦發言人范麗青27日表示，關於民進黨提出要「維持兩岸現狀」，現在台灣社會各界都在問，民進黨所指的「兩岸現狀」是什麼？這是需要民進黨作出明確回答的。至於大陸方面所認為的「兩岸現狀」，范麗青詮釋稱：1949年以來，海峽兩岸雖然尚未統一，但大陸和台灣同屬一個中國的事實從未改變，中國主權和領土完整不容分割；2008年以來，在「九二共識」基礎上，兩岸關係實現和平發展。
